The True Story of What Was

Today, Boyfriend commented on the Facebook status of one of my really good friends.  The next comment was from my college boyfriend, agreeing with what Boyfriend said.  As far as I can tell, neither one of them had any clue who the other commenter was.

I have to admit that I sometimes Facebook stalk College Boyfriend.  The ending wasn’t good.  I guess I sometimes still wish that I could tell him that I’m sorry for how things ended and I really wish they could have ended differently.  I know we weren’t destined to be together, but I wish we could have stayed friends.  At least Facebook-level friends (though FB wasn’t around when I was in college — and, yes, saying that makes me feel old).  I just wish we’d ended on better terms.
